Events & Conferences
As part of the School Financial Support package we offer termly School Business Manager/Bursar Training events.
All our training events are delivered by experienced, knowledgeable trainers. The contents are highly practical but also include current issues and developments in schools’ finance.
Our sessions are lively and interactive and very informative and last approximately 2 hours. They also provide an ideal opportunity for delegates to ask questions and learn from each other’s experiences.
Annual Conference Day for School Business Managers/Bursar
In the morning guest speakers on topics such as current HR issues, Academy Accounting & Procurement Training followed by a two course lunch. The afternoon is designed to be more relaxed with the opportunity to network, finishing with a raffle in aid of a children’s charity! – ‘more of the same, please!’ – SBM, Aileen McCallion, The Avenue
Additional training events
These may become available during the year and normally arise from school requests. These courses tend to include guest speakers on specific topics and come at an additional cost. However, for customers of LBS Ltd any costs are guaranteed to be kept to a minimum.
Governor Training Sessions
Group sessions of Finance for New Governors and Budget Building/Budget Monitoring are held once a year normally held in the evening. Also available are bespoke session held in school.
